In this episode, I am joined by my friend, author, educator, mover, and all-around phenomenal woman, Keena Day (who is also a Commissioner for the City of Commerce’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Commission). We discuss (without scripts or filters) the movie Judas and the Black Messiah, which focuses on Chairman Fred — the Illinois Black Panther Party's assassinated Chairman. We discuss the film from a cinematic perspective but mainly focus on the historical aspects of the movie.
In honor of Black History Month, this was a necessary, stimulating, and organic conversation.
